What are Coolpods?

Coolpods are freezable cooler bags designed to keep food and drink cold and fresh for a long time.

The concept was designed and created in Australia and the company is based in Malvern East, Melbourne with warehousing facilities in Tullamarine,Melbourne

The freezable yoghurt bags and pouches are especially unique and customized to snugly fit most snack size branded yoghurt tubs or Squeezes.

How do Coolpods work?

Simply place your coolpod in the freezer overnight or for at least 6-8 hours.

Then remove your coolpod from the freezer when ready and place freshly made food or food and drink from your fridge inside the frozen bag.

It is not necessary to put your food/drink in the actual bag in the freezer.

The frozen bag then acts as a portable mini fridge for your food and drink.

If you’re using the Coolpod insulated lunch box to carry sandwiches or other “naked” food i.e. food without wrapping, use cling wrap to wrap your food (this will make it easy to clean later).
If you’re using the Coolpod for fruit salads or cereal etc., place food in a plastic container before placing in the cooler bags.

If you’re using the Coolpod for yoghurt, simply place the entire yoghurt tub or container inside the yoghurt bag or yoghurt pouch.

How long will it stay cool for?

Depending on ambient temperature, it will stay frozen for between 3-6 hours and cool for up to 7-9 hours, especially if the bag is not opened during this time. If frozen items are placed in the bag, this will also lengthen the period the bag remains cool.

By lining the entire bag (not just the top and bottom), with coolant ice packs, foam and foil, your food and drink can stay cool and fresh all day long!

The cooling technology also means that placing room temperature food or drink inside the cooler bag will actually chill it after approximately 2 hours!

Due to the number of insulation layers in each Coolpod, even in its unfrozen state, it can maintain the original temperature of your food and drink (hot or cold) for between 2-4 hours depending on ambient temperature.

Can Coolpods be warmed or heated in the Microwave?

Definitely not! They are designed to be frozen only

How do I clean my Coolpod?

To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth or sponge and place back in the freezer for use again.

You should do this each time you have used it.

Do not place in the washing machine, dryer or dishwasher

How safe are they?

Coolpods are made from durable food safe, nontoxic nylon fabric and or/EVA material and coolant gel packs.

Great care is taken at the factory to manufacture these cleverly made freezable lunch bags so as to maximize the cooling efficiency.
